Shipping policy
Last updated: April 14, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders and inquiries placed through bray-ct.com. BRAY-CT is a B2B supplier of FTTx passive optical components, operating from China and shipping globally.
1. Order Fulfilment Model
BRAY-CT operates on a made-to-order and stock-to-order basis. We do not maintain a consumer retail inventory. All orders are confirmed via written purchase order (PO) or inquiry acceptance, and shipment is arranged after order confirmation and payment clearance.
2. Shipping Terms (Incoterms 2020)
We ship under the following Incoterms, agreed at the time of quotation:
The applicable Incoterm will be stated on your proforma invoice. If not specified, DDP applies.
3. Lead Times
Lead times vary by product type and order quantity:
Lead times begin from the date of written order confirmation and receipt of deposit payment. Lead times are estimates and may be affected by factory capacity, public holidays (including Chinese National Holiday and Chinese New Year), and logistics conditions.
4. Shipping Carriers & Methods
We work with a network of international freight forwarders and express couriers, including but not limited to:
-
Express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS): For sample orders and small batches (< 50 kg)
-
Air freight: For time-sensitive orders up to 500 kg
-
Sea freight (LCL or FCL): For bulk orders and pallet shipments
-
Road freight (Europe): For DDP deliveries within the EU / UK
The shipping method is selected based on order weight, volume, destination, and urgency. Your proforma invoice will state the agreed shipping method.
5. Shipping Destinations
We ship to most countries worldwide. Common destinations include the EU, UK, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. If you are unsure whether we ship to your country, please contact us at sales@bray-ct.com before placing an order.
Some destinations may be subject to export control regulations or local import restrictions. BRAY-CT reserves the right to decline orders to restricted destinations.
6. Customs, Duties & Taxes
-
Under DDP terms: All customs clearance, import duties, and VAT/GST are handled and paid by BRAY-CT on your behalf. The landed cost is the quoted price — no additional charges at delivery.
-
Under DAP / FOB terms: The buyer is responsible for import duties, customs brokerage fees, and any local taxes. BRAY-CT will provide all necessary export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, CE Declaration of Conformity where applicable).
BRAY-CT does not mis-declare customs values or product descriptions. We provide accurate HS codes and declared values on all export documents.
7. Tracking & Shipment Notification
Upon dispatch, BRAY-CT will provide:
-
Airway bill (AWB) or bill of lading (B/L) number
-
Name and contact of freight forwarder or courier
-
Expected arrival window
For express shipments, a tracking link will be provided within 24 hours of dispatch. For sea freight, vessel and ETA information will be shared after booking confirmation.
8. Damaged or Lost Shipments
-
DDP orders: BRAY-CT bears the risk of loss or damage in transit until delivery is completed. If goods arrive visibly damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. We will investigate with the carrier and arrange a replacement or credit.
-
FOB / DAP orders: Risk passes to the buyer at the agreed delivery point. We recommend buyers arrange cargo insurance for high-value shipments.
9. Packaging
All goods are packed in export-grade packaging suitable for international transit:

Outer cartons with gross weight, net weight, and dimensions labelled
-
Palletising available for FCL shipments on request
