When the fiber run ends at an outdoor wall, you need a box that doesn't flinch. This 16 Core outdoor FTTH distribution box is built for exactly that scenario — wall-mounted directly on building facades, it receives the feeder cable and distributes to individual apartments or offices.

The 290×225×90mm body fits a standard 4-screw mounting pattern, and the IP65 ABS+PC shell handles UV exposure and monsoon seasons without cracking or fading. The drop cable terminated with SC/APC adapter can get through each of the 16 ports directly, no need to do splicing on site. If you're rolling out FTTH across a multi-dwelling building, this is the workhorse that stays outside and keeps performing.

What makes this box different from indoor distribution units is its environmental resilience. The PC+ABS composite shell carries a UL94 V-0 fire retardant rating — self-extinguishing under flame exposure — while the IP65 seal keeps moisture, dust, and insects out even during heavy rain. The UV-stabilized material won't embrittle or fade after years of direct sun, which is a common failure point for lesser outdoor enclosures.

Each of the 16 SC/APC adapter ports accepts pre-terminated drop cables directly. This is a deliberate design choice for FTTH projects: by using pre-terminated cable, your field technicians skip the entire fusion splicing step on each subscriber port. The internal splice tray still holds a 1×16 PLC splitter if your network design calls for passive splitting at the distribution point — both are supported in the same enclosure.

Installation is straightforward: mark the 4 screw holes using the included template, drill and insert wall plugs, secure with screws, and run the feeder cable through the bottom gland. The hinged cover pops open for full access to the splice tray and adapter panel. That's the entire procedure — no special tools, no curing time, no grease.
